The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has begun the online registration process for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Phase 2 recruitment. The recruitment drive aims to fill 4,227 Group C posts, and eligible candidates can now submit their applications through the official portal.

Only candidates who qualified the CET Group C Phase 1 examination conducted under Advt. No. 01/2025 are eligible to apply for this phase.

Important Dates and Application Details

The application window opened on 9 February 2026 and will remain active until 23 February 2026 (11:59 PM). Applications must be submitted online through the HSSC website. The Commission has clearly stated that no application fee is required for any category, allowing candidates to apply free of cost.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed the CET Group C examination held in 2025. Educational qualifications vary depending on the post and may include 10+2, diploma, graduate, or postgraduate degrees in relevant subjects.

The age limit generally goes up to 42 years, with relaxation applicable as per Haryana government rules.

Exam Pattern

The Phase 2 examination will be conducted offline using OMR sheets. The test will include 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks and must be completed in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

  • The paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
  • Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for the general category and 40% for reserved categories.
  • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, but one mark may be deducted for unattempted questions if the designated bubble is not filled.

Selection Process

The selection process will begin with shortlisting candidates based on CET scores. Up to ten times the number of vacancies may be called for the written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the written or skill examination, followed by document verification where applicable.

The exam date and admit card release schedule will be announced separately on the official website.
