Boney Kapoor has left the internet stunned with his new pictures showing off a much slimmer version of himself than what many have seen so far. The popular Bollywood producer, credited for films such as Judaai, No Entry, Wanted, and Mom, has shed several kilos, reportedly, through a simple diet and no exercise.
New pictures of Boney show him dressed in smart casuals and formals, looking fitter and younger than ever. While his style choices received widespread admiration, his new physique didn’t go unnoticed. According to a report, he has apparently shed 26 kilos without entering a gym and only with the help of a simple diet.
Boney Kapoor’s Strict Diet
Boney Kapoor’s weight loss is being attributed to his simple diet. Reportedly, he skips dinner at night and prefers to have soup instead. His mornings include fruit, juice, and jowar roti.
According to news reports, Boney didn’t follow a rigorous workout routine. Instead, he skipped gymming and chose to exercise restraint when it came to his food choices. Well, the results of his discipline and self-control are quite evident and speak for themselves.
Boney credits wife Sridevi for his weight loss
Talking about his weight loss last year, the producer shared in an interview, “The inspiration behind it was my wife because Sridevi was constantly behind me. She used to say, ‘When I met you, you were slim, trim, tall, and good-looking, and now you just…’” To this, he’d jokingly reply, “After I got you in my life, what more can I ask for? If I become slim and trim, then a lot of females would be attracted to me, and I don’t want that to happen.”
While all his previous attempts to lose weight, which included going to the gym and taking walks with her in the evening, failed, this time around things seem to have taken a different turn, and for the better.
Recently, many celebrities have been in the news for their drastic weight loss, and the list includes popular names like Karan Johar, Ram Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, among others. The results they have achieved are a combined effort of diet and exercise.
