Bharti Singh is soon going to welcome her second child into the world, but there’s something that has got her “extremely worried.” The 41-year-old shared that her tests indicate high sugar levels despite her best efforts to keep her diet clean and in control.
In her YouTube video, she said, “I don’t know why but I tested my sugar this morning on an empty stomach. It was too high, despite avoiding sweets. I usually have just one cup of tea in the morning with half a spoon of brown sugar. I am angry because taking precautions is also not helping.”
Bharti added that she is feeling quite sick since her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, is also not around. “He is in Dubai for work, and I feel lonely without him. More than a husband, he’s my friend and confidant.”
Later, Bharti shared more about her visit to the doctor, who she said scolded her a lot. She has been asked to correct her diet and lifestyle. She revealed that her average sugar (HbA1c) was 4.5 earlier. However, it has now increased to 6.7, which falls in the diabetic range.
She asked fans for suggestions and shared her diet, which includes black tea with brown sugar, breads made out of bajra, corn, vegetables like bottle gourd, and lentils.
Later, after Bharti’s husband returned, he comforted her by assuring her that everything was going to be fine. He suggested she eat more fibre and vegetables, and eat if she’s hungry. Meanwhile, Bharti joked about having 3 to 4 atta rotis since her clean diet was clearly not working.
