Rapper and music producer Yo Yo Honey Singh recently paid an emotional tribute to legendary composer A R Rahman in a unique and heartfelt manner - by getting a tattoo in his honour. The rapper took to Instagram to share a video of himself getting Rahman’s signature inked on his body, calling the Oscar-winning composer a ‘living legend’ and crediting him as one of his biggest inspirations.
In the video, Honey Singh, 42, is seen getting the tattoo etched on his right shoulder blade while singing the iconic Rahman track Tu Hi Re from the film Bombay.
As the camera captures the intimate moment, the rapper shares, “This is for my love for the lovely legend Mr. A.R. Rahman. I love you sir. This is for you. Thank you for blessing me with your music. You are the reason why I am a musician today. I love you forever.”
The tribute didn’t end there. Honey Singh revealed that this was his third tattoo in one night, all done to honour Rahman. In his Instagram caption, he wrote, “My third tattoo in one night for my lovely living legend @arrahman sir !! I love you sir, thank you for everything.” The post quickly gained traction, with fans applauding Honey Singh’s gesture and his enduring admiration for the maestro.
