Shamita took to her Instagram to share her experience and raise awareness about this often-misunderstood disease. In her post, she expressed profound gratitude to her doctors, Dr. Neeta Warty and Dr. Sunita Banerjee, for their relentless efforts in diagnosing and treating her condition. She shared a video from the hospital, capturing light-hearted moments before her surgery, indicating her positive spirit and resilience.
Her Instagram caption reads:
"Did you know that almost 40% of women suffer from Endometriosis... and most of us are unaware of this disease!!! I want to thank both my doctors, my gynac dr Neeta Warty and my Gp dr Sunita Banerjee for not stopping till they found out the root cause of my pain! Now that I’ve had this disease surgically removed I’m looking forward to good health n now more physically pain free days!"
