Kritika Kamra has been in the news ever since she subtly hinted about her relationship with Gaurav Kapur on social media. In the midst of the speculation regarding her current relationship, an old interview where she talks about her split from former boyfriend Karan Kundrra has come to light.

Kritika and Karan were in a romantic relationship while filming the popular TV series, Kitani Mohabbat Hai. The audience adored the onscreen romance between their characters, Arohi and Arjun. Additionally, when they ended their relationship in reality, their fans felt devastated. Time went on, yet their admirers still enjoy seeing Arohi and Arjun as a pair.

Kritika Kamra and Karan Kundrra’s romance flourished in the series Kitani Mohabbat Hai. They were in a relationship for two years from 2009 to 2011, which also overlapped with the show's timeframe. Shortly after the show ended, rumors of their split emerged. Nearly a year after their breakup, Kritika revealed the cause of it.

In a conversation with the Times of India, the actress mentioned, “There isn't a specific reason for my separation from Karan. There wasn't any confrontation. We both became extremely occupied with our new projects, which negatively impacted our relationship. It is truly unfortunate that we were unable to nurture our relationship. We had a strong emotional bond, spending every moment together, yet he never asked me to marry him, and I’m thankful he didn’t. We never envisioned life, such as marrying in five years or anything like that. No discussions about a separation occurred either."

While their fans may still cling to the Kitani Mohabbat Hai couple, they have progressed in their actual lives. Following their time as contestants on Bigg Boss 15 in 2021, Karan began a relationship with Tejasswi Prakash.

The latter recently revealed that conversations about the marriage have been occurring between them. In the meantime, Kritika apparently made her relationship with Gaurav official by posting some snapshots from their breakfast date together.
