Television actor Anuj Sachdeva was assaulted by a member of his own housing society in Goregaon West, Mumbai. The actor, recognized for hit TV series such as Phir Subah Hogi and Sabki Laadli Bebo, posted a troubling video on Instagram depicting a man attacking him with a rod. As per Anuj, the event occurred after he brought up a concern regarding improper parking in the society.
Anuj Sachdeva is a prominent actor and model in Indian television. Born on October 5, 1986, in New Delhi, he began his career after competing in MTV Roadies in 2005. Before joining the entertainment industry, Anuj collaborated with his father in the footwear manufacturing sector and is also a certified shoe designer.
He made his first television appearance in Sabki Laadli Bebo, portraying the character of Amrit. He subsequently became well-known through series such as Phir Subah Hogi, Itti Si Khushi, Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, and Woh Toh Hai Albelaa.
Anuj has also been featured in movies like Hawaa Hawaai, Love Shagun, and the Punjabi films Haani and Police in Pollywood. He was recently seen in the ZEE5 web series Chhal Kapat, which debuted in June 2025, portraying the character Vikram Shandel.
Speaking about the incident, in the footage, the assailant is observed rushing at Anuj, verbally assaulting him and issuing threats. Anuj further stated that the individual attempted to strike his pet dog during the altercation. The situation intensified until security personnel stepped in and removed the suspect. While being stopped, the man could be heard threatening to murder the actor.
Sharing the video as proof, Anuj stated on Instagram, “I am sharing this proof before this individual attempts to harm me or my possessions. He attempted to strike my dog and me with a stick for informing the society group about his vehicle that was incorrectly parked in the society's parking area.”
