According to sources cited by Filmfare, there is a possibility of Triptii Dimri stepping into the iconic shoes of Parveen Babi for an upcoming biopic.
While the project is still in its early stages, industry insiders suggest that the talented actress is the top contender for the lead role. Though other names are reportedly being considered, Dimri's potential casting has generated significant interest and anticipation among fans.
As per earlier reports by India Today, actress Urvashi Rautela announced that she will be playing Parveen Babi in a film based on her biopic. Producer Dhiraj Mishra had confirmed during an interview with the publication that they were considering many actresses but after seeing one of her music videos, they liked Urvashi's style and her work and hence chose her to play Parveen.
However, it seems that due to the latest report, the Animal actress will most likely play Parveen Babi in the biopic film. But there is no official confirmation on this.
This is not the first time that a film is being made based on the legendary actress' life. Before this, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt made films like Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee, Arth, and Woh Lamhe, which drew significant inspiration from their infamous relationship.
