Triptii Dimri faces fresh criticism

Triptii Dimri, who recently gained recognition for her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, has come under fire from women entrepreneurs after missing a scheduled FICCI FLO event in Jaipur. The organizers accused the actress of accepting an advance payment of Rs 5 lakh for her appearance and are now threatening to boycott her films, accusing her of disrespecting them. In response, Triptii’s team issued a statement denying any commitment to attend the event.

The controversy escalated when a video surfaced showing Triptii confirming her attendance at the FICCI FLO event. The video, shared by FICCI FLO’s official Instagram, features Triptii saying, “I am happy to confirm that I will be a part of the FICCI FLO event team Shakti, celebrating the strength and energy of women. Thank you, Ms. Raghushri Poddar, chairperson of FICCI FLO Jaipur chapter, for organizing this event. See you all tomorrow at 12 noon.”

One of the event organizers mentioned that they had been informed over the phone that Triptii would arrive soon, but she ultimately failed to show up, leading to disappointment. This sparked threats of legal action against the actress for not honoring her commitment, with the organizers calling for a boycott of Triptii and her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video in Jaipur.

In response to these claims, Triptii’s team issued a statement saying, “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
