Actress Triptii Dimri recently came under fire after event organizers in Jaipur accused her of skipping an event despite allegedly charging Rs 5.5 lakhs. However, Triptii’s team has addressed the claims, issuing a statement to the press denying any agreement or commitment to attend the event.

According to the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO, Triptii Dimri was paid Rs 5 lakhs to attend their event but did not show up.

On October 2, Tripti's team issued an official statement to the media stating, “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”

Tripti Dimri's spokesperson refuted the claims made by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO, stating that the actor had fully fulfilled her professional commitments during the promotions of her upcoming film, "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video." The spokesperson clarified that the FICCI event was not part of these obligations and that Tripti had not received any payment for it.

In videos from the FICCI FLO event, the organizers can be seen blaming Tripti Dimri for not attending and announcing their intention to file a police complaint. One of the women proceeded to vandalize a poster of the actor, to the cheers of the audience.

In a video gone viral, a woman said, “No one will watch her movies. They make commitments but don’t show up; they need to learn time management. What big celebrity is she? No one even knows her name. We came to see who she is. Until now, nobody knows her, and this is her life. She is not at all worth being called a celebrity.” In the same video another lady joined in and said Jaipur should boycott Triptii Dimri.

Meanwhile, following her role in Bad Newz with Vicky Kaushal and Amy Virk, Tripti Dimri will be starring in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Rajkummar Rao. She is also lined up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where she will share the screen with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan.
