Tom Holland is gearing up for Spider-Man Brand New Day

Tom Holland is currently shooting for his highly anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and several videos from the set are going viral on social media, creating a buzz among the fans.

The videos featured action-packed moments as Spider-Man takes leaps from building to building during a police chase. Holland is currently shooting the film in Glasgow, Scotland.

The videos also showed a car chase unfold and a dramatic blast. An actor was seen in the iconic Spider-Man suit, believed to be a stunt double of Tom Holland. He was seen dangling from a harness on a trailer being driven down Bothwell Street. The crew behind the film’s action has pulled off some practical stunts with the web-slinging superhero.

Tom Holland started the shooting of the latest instalment in the Spider-verse on August 1, with areas of Glasgow transformed to resemble parts of an American city. The video came after Holland teased the new Spider-Man suit that he will wear in the film.

Spider-Man 4 will also see the return of Zendaya, who plays Peter Parker’s girlfriend, M.J. Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon, as his best friend Ned Leeds.

Meanwhile, Michael Mando, who portrayed Scorpion, the villain character whom he first played in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the 2017 feature that kicked off the Holland-centric Spider-Man movies, is also expected to return to the franchise.

The Spidey universe will also see some new additions, including Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, who recently appeared on Disney+ Daredevil: Born Again alongwith as well as mysterious new characters played by The Bear Emmy winner Liza Colón-Zayas and Stranger Things standout Sadie Sink.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2026.
