Sonakshi Sinha shares a new poster from her upcoming horror comedy thriller Kakuda

The plot of the film is based on the cursed village of Ratodi in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura.

After her exemplary performance in Heeramandi: A Diamond Bazaar, Sonakshi Sinha will soon be seen in her upcoming horror-comedy Kakuda.

The film will be an OTT release and will premiere on Zee5 on July 12.

Sharing its official poster on Instagram, the Akira actress wrote in the caption, "In other news…Indira thinks ghosts do not exist, until uss Magalvaar shaam jab husband ne 7:15 se pehle door nahi khola... "

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, "Kakuda" is a chilling comedy slated to release on ZEE5 on July 12th. The film boasts an impressive cast featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem in lead roles, alongside Aasif Khan in a pivotal role.

Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. She stole everyone's heart as Fareedan in the Netflix show.

Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal formally tied the knot on June 23rd in Mumbai. After seven years of dating, the couple exchanged vows in a private civil ceremony held at Sinha's residence. A grand reception followed at Bastian, a popular Mumbai venue, attracting a host of Bollywood celebrities.
