The recently unveiled trailer for Bad Newz promises a comedic rollercoaster. The scene opens with a tense exchange between Neha Dhupia and a flustered Triptii Dimri. Dhupia demands to know the paternity of Dimri's unborn child, prompting a doctor's recommendation for a paternity test.
The narrative then cuts between seemingly disparate scenes: Vicky Kaushal relaxing by a pool and Dimri in party attire. The crux of the film's humour is revealed as it's established that Dimri also had a one-night stand with Ammy Virk. This muddies the waters of paternity, leaving Dimri completely bewildered.
In a surprising twist, the doctor throws a medical anomaly into the mix - both Kaushal and Virk are the biological fathers! This revelation sets the stage for the film's comedic exploration of an unconventional family dynamic.
The film is directed by Anand Tiwari and the dynamic trio including Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk will be seen in lead roles. Neha Dhupia will also play a significant part in the film.
While Vicky Kaushal was last seen in the well-acclaimed biopic Sam Bahadur, Triptii Dimri became a household name in Bollywood after her appearance in the blockbuster hit movie Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Punjabi actor Ammy Virk's latest movie was Kudi Haryane Val Di co-starring with Sonam Bajwa.
