The Hindi box office witnessed a remarkable shake-up with the release of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 this Diwali as both films achieved record-breaking opening day collections. These two sequels managed to outperform Salman Khan's previous hits Bharat and Sultan respectively, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
Ajay Devgn's Singham Again roared into theaters with an impressive Rs 43.70 crore on its opening day. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film continues the story of the fearless and upright police officer, Bajirao Singham. The latest installment in the Singham franchise, known for its high-octane action sequences and gripping narrative, lived up to its hype, drawing massive crowds to theaters across the country.
Ajay Devgn's portrayal of Singham has been iconic, and the audience's anticipation for the film was palpable. The film's success can be attributed to its loyal fan base, thrilling storyline, and well-choreographed action scenes that have become a hallmark of the franchise. Singham Again not only surpassed Bharat's opening day collection of Rs 42.30 crore but also cemented its place as one of the highest-grossing opening day films in Bollywood history.
