Since its release on December 5, Pushpa 2: The Rule has been a hit at the box office. However, Siddharth recently stirred up controversy during the promotion of his film Miss You. He made a comparison between the Pushpa Patna event and a JCB digging site, which caught attention for its bluntness.
Siddharth downplayed the massive crowd at the Pushpa 2 trailer launch in Patna, calling it a marketing strategy. He compared the crowd's curiosity to people gathering around a JCB at a construction site, suggesting that big crowds don't always mean genuine interest. He also pointed out that if crowd size determined importance, political rallies would decide elections, implying that large numbers don’t always reflect the true value or impact of an event.
In his interview with YouTuber Madan Gowri, Siddharth responded to the massive crowd at the Pushpa 2 trailer launch in Patna, calling it a marketing tactic. He said, "He said, "That’s also marketing. In India, people gathering is not an issue. Even if you station a JCB in our country, it will attract crowd. It’s not a big deal to see a huge crowd in Bihar. If you block a huge ground and organise something, then people will definitely turn up. For that, they have a song and a film."
Siddharth continued, "In India, there’s no relation between a large crowd and quality. If that’s the case, then all political parties should win because they see large crowd. Back then, it was called the biryani and quarter packet gang. It's easy to be hailed as a king when you're showered with applause. Gaining that applause is easy."

Following Siddharth's interview, reactions from netizens have been mixed. Some agree with his viewpoint, supporting his criticism of the crowd size as a mere marketing tactic. Others, however, feel his comments reflect jealousy, claiming that his lack of recognition in the North contributes to his dismissive attitude toward the event's success. These differing opinions highlight the ongoing debate around the significance of such promotional strategies and the role of regional fame in shaping an actor's perspective.
