Shin chan is all set to premiere in India on September 26

We believe that Shin chan is not only about movie for us anymore, but it is about TV anime, adorable characters, songs and dance, cute goods and etc.

The animated movie "Shin chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India" will have its Indian premiere on September 26th, 2025.

Prior to this a special screening of the movie is going to be held at the Japanese Film Festival at the Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! event on September 14.

This premiere is a collaboration between TV Asahi, PVR INOX Pictures, and Happening 365. The film's director, Masakazu Hashimoto, will be in attendance for the event. Fans will also get a chance to see the famous character Shin chan himself, making it a unique celebration for everyone.

Produced by Shin-Ei Animation, TV Asahi, ADK Emotions, and Futabasha, the film follows Shin-chan and his friends as they travel to India for a dance festival. They happily explore the new culture, trying local food like chapati and using the greeting "Namaste." The story takes a turn when a mysterious backpack transforms Bo-chan, forcing the Kasukabe Guard to work together to change him back. Set in colorful India, the movie is a mix of comedy, adventure, and heartfelt moments centered around a dance competition.

The excitement surrounding this premiere is amplified by Shin chan’s recent success at Anime India, where it secured two top honors at the prestigious ANN Award, including Best International Animated Feature Film and Best Animated Licensed Character (International). The wins have sparked enthusiastic conversations across social media and anime communities, further heightening anticipation for the film’s Indian debut.
