Shehnaaz Gill recently opened about her close bond with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, fuelling curiosity about their relationship. In a candid conversation with Farah Khan on Fun With Farah, Shehnaaz revealed that she was extremely possessive of Sidharth, further deepening speculation about their connection.
During the interview, Shehnaaz shared that while looks don’t matter much to her, she does get jealous quickly in a relationship. Reflecting on her bond with Sidharth, she admitted to feeling possessive. “I was possessive because he was so handsome. If someone is that good-looking, it’s natural to feel insecure and possessive,” she confessed.
Although Sidharth and Shehnaaz never publicly confirmed their relationship, their close friendship was always a topic of discussion, with their fans coining the hashtag SidNaaz to celebrate their bond. Their chemistry blossomed during their time on Bigg Boss 13, where they grew close, though they never officially acknowledged being a couple. Sidharth went on to win the reality show in 2020 but tragically passed away from a cardiac arrest on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40.
Following Sidharth’s death, Shehnaaz paid tribute to him with a heartfelt music video titled Tu Yaheen Hai. She also honored his memory during the season finale of Bigg Boss 15 with a special performance.
During her chat with Farah, Shehnaaz also spoke about what she looks for in a future partner. Describing herself as an “alpha woman,” she expressed her desire for equality in a relationship, both financially and professionally.

“I want an equal. I would struggle if my partner had a significantly higher status than me. I’m the kind of person who believes in splitting expenses equally when we go out,” she said. While Shehnaaz enjoys receiving gifts and pampering, she emphasized that she also likes giving gifts in return. She added, “I am very loyal, and I envision my life with the same man forever. But fate plays a big role in relationships.”
On the professional front, Shehnaaz is making her mark in Bollywood. She appeared in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, alongside Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati, and Pooja Hegde. She was also part of the ensemble cast in Thank You For Coming, a film that premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The movie also starred Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi.
