The intense heat of Ahmedabad, which soared to 45.9 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, is believed to have led to the actor's heat stroke.
Following the match, Shah Rukh Khan was seen celebrating KKR's victory. Videos posted on the official X account of KKR show him taking a lap of honor at the stadium along with his children, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. However, the celebration was cut short when he had to be admitted to the hospital the next day. The news was confirmed by Om Prakash Jat, the Superintendent of Police, Ahmedabad (Rural). He stated, “Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to K D Hospital after suffering from a heat stroke."
In response to this incident, security measures at K D Hospital were immediately strengthened to ensure the actor's safety and privacy during his treatment.
