Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has voiced his grief and outrage over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, including two foreign nationals. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the actor strongly condemned the horrific incident, calling it a “treachery and inhumane act of violence.”

In his emotional post, Shah Rukh wrote, “Words fail to express the sadness and anger at the treachery and inhumane act of violence that has occurred in Pahalgam. In times like these, one can only turn to God and say a prayer for the families that suffered and express my deepest condolences. May we as a Nation, stand united, strong and get justice against this heinous act (sic).”

The tragedy has shaken the nation and prompted an outpouring of grief and fury from citizens, celebrities, and political leaders alike. SRK’s statement joins a growing list of voices from the film industry demanding justice and expressing solidarity with the victims and their families. Many have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure swift and decisive action against the perpetrators of the attack.

The deadly assault took place when gunmen opened fire on a group of tourists enjoying the scenic beauty of Pahalgam, a popular destination in Jammu and Kashmir. The attack has not only left the nation in mourning but also raised pressing concerns about safety and security in the region.

In a significant development, security agencies have released photographs and sketches of three suspected terrorists involved in the attack. The suspects have been identified as Asif Fuji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha. Efforts are underway to track them down and bring them to justice.
