Comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina who is in the headlines for Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial comment on his show India's Got Latent, has finally broken silence on the entire controversy and shared his thoughts on his social media platforms.

Samay took to X and wrote, "Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you."

He has mentioned in his posts that he has deleted all the episodes of India's Got Latent from his YouTube channel.

Samay is presently in the United States, and his advocate requested an extension for his police appearance, but the request was denied. Authorities have instructed Raina to present himself at the earliest opportunity.

The controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia, widely known as ‘Beer Biceps,’ erupted after a viral clip from Samay Raina’s show featured him making an inappropriate remark about sex while speaking to a contestant. The offensive question, which quickly gained traction online, led to widespread outrage against the show and its panelists.

In response to the backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology, admitting that his comment was both inappropriate and unfunny. In a video message, he stated, “Comedy is not my forte, and it wasn’t cool. I am just here to say sorry.” However, the damage had already been done, and authorities soon stepped in.

Following intervention by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B) and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), the controversial video was taken down from YouTube. Meanwhile, legal trouble for the show intensified, with multiple FIRs being lodged against those associated with it.
