Sai Pallavi, who is preparing to play Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, has recently come under criticism from netizens after her latest swimsuit pictures surfaced online.

Actress Sai Pallavi is gearing up for her role as Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. However, the actress has been recently facing backlash from netizens over her latest photos in a swimsuit.

The caption read, "Beach high #sunkissed @saipallavi.senthamarai."


Several fans took to the comment section, praising the photos and Sai Pallavi's attire. One comment read, "Beauty looks beautiful without makeup." Another comment read, "Beautifully captured, with the right focus and camera placement."

However, there were also a flock of negative comments based on her swim-wear look from her beach vacation. One fan wrote, "She forgot to wear saree to swim." Another commented read, "Hence proved she belongs to all so called heroine...keep aside of traditional wear..." A user also read, "If Sai Pallavi wear sleevless & short dress visits beach then which actress will protect our indian culture? Give, answer for this all Sai Pallavi fans?"

Following that, many Sai Pallavi fans quickly defended the actress stating that it was her choice to wear whatever attire she wants. A netizen wrote, "To those few people. Fyi a swim suit is used for swimming !! People can do what they want or Do whatever they are comfortable with. It's their choice. U have no right to intrude." Another user pointed out, "She is brilliant enough to know what she wants to wear as per the situation and occasion."

A comment also read, "To those few comments people wear a swim suit while swimming !! People can wear what they are comfortable with. Its their choice. Stop intruding in other peoples lives. N saipallavi ma'am told about her preferences(modest not traditional, dont over exxagerate) in movies not personal life. Everyone can do what they feel is right. U have no right to ask. Its their choice. Even in personal life she is simple and modest only .N We respect her for the person she is !!"

Another user's befitting reply read, "Thts Ms.Pallavi’s wish what she wants to wear. What you expect to wear under water?? A saree ?? Cm on."

On the work front, Sai Pallavi will be seen playing Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Yash will play Ravana and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman while Ravi Dubey will essay Lord Lakshmana's role. The grand mythological epic is set to release in two parts- Ramayana Part 1 will release in Diwali 2026 and Ramayana Part 2 will hit the theatres in Diwali 2027.

The film Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, with Yash stepping into the role of Ravana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lord Lakshmana. The grand mythological drama is planned as a two-part saga — Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026, followed by Ramayana Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
