Ryan Reynolds is in full swing promoting his highly anticipated movie "Deadpool & Wolverine" alongside Hugh Jackman. But between the serious interviews, Ryan Reynolds took a moment to address a playful rumour sparked during a SiriusXM interview.
In a recent promotional stunt, Reynolds playfully mentioned being "sued" by pop singer Taylor Swift. His past Deadpool film featured Swift's beloved cats without her permission. Whether this is a genuine lawsuit or a hilarious marketing ploy remains to be seen, but it certainly adds a playful twist to the "Deadpool & Wolverine" promotions.
Reports surfaced suggesting Taylor Swift sued Reynolds for using images of her cats, Meredith and Olivia, on a t-shirt worn by his character Wade Wilson in "Deadpool 2." During the interview, Reynolds jokingly acknowledged the situation, stating, "Yes, I had a T-shirt made. Yes, of [Swift's cats] Meredith and Olivia on Wade's shirt. Yeah, you know, just little details, that's all."
However, Reynolds assures fans there's no bad blood between him and Swift.
According to People Magazine reports, he said, “Yes, I had a T-shirt made. Yes, of [Swift’s cats] Meredith and Olivia on Wade’s shirt. Yeah, you know, just little details, that’s all."

When questioned about using images of her cats in "Deadpool 2," Reynolds jokingly implied a lawsuit. He humorously stated that he'd been sued and lost everything, highlighting the supposed difficulty of facing a friend with powerful lawyers. However, he maintained his innocence regarding needing permission, playfully denying any wrongdoing.
In addition to the playful banter about the lawsuit, Ryan Reynolds's interview also highlights his and his wife Blake Lively's strong friendship with Taylor Swift. The couple, along with their three daughters, were spotted enjoying Swift's concert in Madrid back in May, further solidifying their close bond.
