SS Rajamouli pens emotional note for Prabhas after Baahubali: The Epic's screening in Japan, latter replies, "Missing you here"

Rajamouli lovingly called Japan his “second home” and expressed happiness that Prabhas had finally reached the country.

Prabhas is currently in Japan for a special screening of Baahubali: The Epic, and his visit has created huge excitement among fans there. Meanwhile filmmaker SS Rajamouli shared a heartfelt message for him.

Rajamouli wrote, "Knowing you darling, if you’ve already tasted the love of the Japanese audience, you must be in tears right now.”. He recalled his earlier visits to Japan and shared how fans always asked him one question: when Prabhas would come to meet them.

He wrote, "The more they expressed their wish, the more I wanted you to experience the love they have for you, and for them to see how much you care for them too."

Rajamouli lovingly called Japan his “second home” and expressed happiness that Prabhas had finally reached the country. His message continued, "Finally, my Baahubali has arrived in my second home. I hope you enjoy Japan as much as I have enjoyed every visit. To all my Japanese friends, love you all. Arigato gozaimasu."

Prabhas reshared this note with a picture from his trip and replied with affection. He wrote,"Daaaarlingggggg SS Rajamouli… love you so much. Missing you here in Japan… we’ll both come again."

At the special screening event, Prabhas also spoke to the audience. He thanked them warmly and said, "Thanks for the love," while remembering how Rajamouli Garu and the Baahubali producers had always described the deep emotional connection Japanese fans have with the films.

Prabhas is also preparing for his upcoming films. His horror comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi is scheduled to release on January 9, 2026. He is simultaneously working on Fauzi with Hanu Raghavapudi and Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
