Rocking star Yash skips birthday fan meet, promises a bigger moment with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups release

Rock star Yash is all set to celebrate his 40th birthday on January 8, 2026. The actor shared an emotional message addressing his followers on social media ahead of his birthday tomorrow.

Yash, who is gearing up for his highly anticipated Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, took to his Instagram Story and expressed gratitude towards his fans and followers for their patience and lengthy wait to see him.

The superstar further revealed that although he had planned to hold a fan meet event this year, he is now fully focused on completing his next movie, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, which is scheduled for a major theatrical release on March 19, 2026.

Yash wrote in his lengthy post, “To my dearest fans, I honestly am deeply aware of how you've been waiting to meet me over the last few years. Trust me, I’ve been longing to see you all just as much.”

“I truly wanted to make it happen this year on my birthday, but I am fully immersed in finishing the film to make sure it's ready for you in theaters on March 19th, 2026. Because of this, I won't be able to meet you in person just yet,” he added.

The actor concluded, “Even though we couldn’t make it happen now, I promise to make it up to you. We will meet in a much bigger way, very soon. In the meantime, I will be personally looking through all your wishes and cherishing every bit of the love you send. Yours, Yash.”

Toxic is penned by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages, underscoring its global ambition.

The film is set in a bygone era, and this gripping tale unfolds in the coastal paradise of Goa, where a powerful drug cartel pulls the strings behind a facade of sun-soaked beaches and vibrant culture.

Alongside Yash, the film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nai in the key roles.
