
Actor Rashmika Mandanna recently revisited her fond memories of Japan after attending the premiere of her pan-Indian hit Pushpa 2: The Rule in Tokyo, and she said she “can’t wait to come back again.”
Rashmika, who plays Srivalli in the Pushpa franchise, shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram story along with photos of herself reading fan letters and gifts she received during her short stay in Japan.
In her message, Rashmika wrote, "So I was in Japan for a day and all the love I received there in just one day was so, so, sooooo wholesome!!! So many letters and so many gifts, and I read them all and brought every single gift back home. I can't tell you how emotional I became seeing all of this."
"Thank you so, so, so much for all this love always, Japan!! I love you! And I can't wait to come back again, but next time it'll be for a longer duration - I promise! And I promise I'll try learning more Japanese before my next visit!! Bigggggest hugs," she added.
The Tokyo premiere was attended by a huge turnout of fans, many of whom came with posters and masks inspired by Allu Arjun’s iconic Pushpa Raj character. During the event, Arjun delighted the crowd by delivering a popular Pushpa 2 dialogue in Japanese, which added to the excitement and showcased his connection with international audiences.
Rashmika also took the time to personally interact with fans at the event, expressing her gratitude and appreciation for their support. Videos and pictures shared by the film’s makers highlighted the enthusiastic reception in Japan, where Pushpa 2 has been embraced by audiences beyond India.

Directed by Sukumar B, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the 2024 sequel to Pushpa: The Rise and has been a major box office success. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh, and the team is expected to return for a third instalment in the franchise.
