Director Saailu Kaampati's romantic drama Raju Weds Rambai is about to reach more people thanks to its digital release. The movie will be available to view on ETV Win on December 18, 2025, after it has done well in theaters. This will give folks another chance to see this touching love story situated in the country.

The Plot and the Acting
The main character in the story is Raju (Akhil Raj), a happy young man from a village near Illandu. Shivaji Raja and Anita Chowdary are his parents, and he runs the family's traditional band ensemble alongside them. His life changes when he falls in love with Rambai (Tejaswini), the daughter of Venkatanna (Chaitu Jonnalagadda), who works as a compounder at a government hospital.
Rambai's father finds out about their relationship, which ends their budding romance. He doesn't like the connection because he believes in rigid standards and social standing. This makes both families very upset. The movie is about love, honor, sacrifice, and how strong social norms may be detrimental.
Akhil Raj and Tejaswini are new actors, but they do a terrific job at being honest and emotionally moving, and they have amazing chemistry. Chaitu Jonnalagadda does a terrific job of playing a dad who is torn between his own needs and what society expects of him.
The supporting actors provide substance to the sorrowful plot. The director, Saailu Kaampati, recounts the story in a genuine way by using things that really happened in the Manukota and Illandu districts as inspiration.

The first half of the movie is light and enjoyable, but the second half is more serious and closes with a strong ending.
