On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri 2026, the makers of Nagabandham unveiled the eagerly awaited teaser for their upcoming mythological action drama, timing the release to coincide with the sacred festival. Released by Mahesh Babu on 15 February 2026, the teaser has already begun generating buzz for its visually striking presentation and larger-than-life world that blends spirituality, mythology and historical elements.

Sharing the post on X, “The #WorldOfNagabandham looks absolutely fascinating all the way…. Looking forward to experiencing it soon,” Mahesh Babu wrote.

Directed by Abhishek Nama, Nagabandham positions itself as a Pan-India film intended for audiences across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam markets. The teaser opens against a mystical backdrop that evokes ancient Himalayan mythos — hinting at hidden sacred forces, divine energies and a deep-rooted spiritual legacy that is central to the story.

At the centre of the trailer is Virat Karrna, who appears in a powerful warrior avatar with scenes suggesting divine fury and intense combat. Although there are no dialogues in the short preview, the visuals alone — featuring monumental set pieces and spiritual undertones — hint at a narrative steeped in mythology and cosmic conflict.

The ensemble cast includes Nabha Natesh and Ishwarya Menon in leading roles, alongside veteran actors such as Jagapathi Babu, Mahesh Manjrekar, Rishabh Sawhney and Garuda Ram in pivotal parts. The film’s production values, aided by cinematographer Soundar Rajan S and an atmospheric musical score, contribute to its cinematic ambition.

Nagabandham is slated for a summer 2026 release, and the team’s choice to drop the teaser on Maha Shivaratri reflects the film’s spiritual themes and connection to Hindu mythological motifs. With several character posters and first looks already unveiled, audiences are now anticipating more promotional material and further updates on the film’s release date.
