Mohanlal finally announces Vrushabha release date, shares new poster

Veteran Malayalam superstar and Dadasaheb Phalke awardee Mohanlal has officially revealed the release date of his much-awaited action-adventure, Vrushabha. The actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to make the announcement, posting, “The ground shakes. The sky burns. Destiny has chosen its warrior. Vrushabha arrives on 6th November!”

The film, directed by Nanda Kishore, is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Telefilms and AVS Studios. The project also includes Connekkt Media, Abhishek Vyas Studios, and Aashirvad Cinemas as production partners, marking a large-scale collaboration across multiple film industries.

Vrushabha boasts an ensemble cast featuring Mohanlal, Neha Saxena, Ragini Dwivedi, Ramachandra Raju, Sarika, Zara Khan, and Balagam Sanjay Krishna, among others. The film’s music is composed by Sam C.S., while K.M. Prakash serves as the editor and Antony Samson handles cinematography.

The production team also includes Janvi Gill as associate producer, Harini Ramakrishna as costume designer, and Prathamesh Mhatre as art director. Although the makers have kept the storyline tightly under wraps, early reports hint that Vrushabha will blend mythological elements with a high-octane action narrative centered on a deeply emotional father-son relationship.

With an estimated budget of Rs 50 crore, Vrushabha is shaping up to be one of Malayalam cinema’s biggest releases of the year. The teaser has already generated strong buzz online, promising a visually rich and emotionally charged experience that merges grand scale with human drama.
