Kavin, Andrea Jeremiah starrer Tamil film Mask to release on January 9

The film is jointly produced by The Show Must Go On and Black Madras Films and is presented by Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company.

The Tamil action-thriller Mask is set to make its digital debut following a successful theatrical run since its release on November 21, 2025.

The film will begin streaming on ZEE5 from January 9, 2026. Written and directed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok, Mask features Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles.

Mask is a gripping action thriller that follows Velu (Kavin), a shrewd and money-driven private detective whose professional façade hides morally questionable choices.

His life takes a dangerous turn when he is pulled into a high-stakes pursuit involving a mysterious masked gang, powerful forces operating behind charitable fronts, and secrets that threaten to upend multiple lives. As the investigation deepens, Velu is forced to confront not just the truth behind the crime, but also the cost of his own actions.

Kavin, the lead actor of the film shares, “Mask has already had its journey with audiences, and it’s great that the film is now reaching a much wider set of viewers through Tamil ZEE5. Velu is a layered character, and I’m glad more people will get to experience the film and its intensity on the platform.”

The film features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar, and editing by R. Ramar. With its blend of action, suspense, and layered storytelling, Mask promises an intense viewing experience for thriller enthusiasts.
