In the film, Kiran Abbavaram portrays Kumar, a spoiled and careless young man who performs poorly in the EAMCET exams. To secure his admission into an engineering college in Kerala, his wealthy father pays a large donation, allowing Kumar to attend the college along with his friend.

During his time there, he encounters Joy Mercy (played by Yukti), who saves him from a potentially dangerous accident. Their initial friendship gradually develops into love. However, Mercy suffers from PTSD and has difficulty trusting people, particularly those who lie to her, which adds complexity to their relationship.
