Rakesh Roshan talks about Hrithik Roshan directorial debut

Rakesh Roshan has recently delighted fans with the announcement of Krrish 4. However, the filmmaker revealed that his son and actor Hrithik Roshan will also be making his directorial debut.

In a recent interview with the Bombay Times, Rakesh Roshan talked about the upcoming film and revealed why Hrithik is taking another role.

The filmmaker said, "Hrithik has always been on the forefront, right from Koi... Mil Gaya and both the Krrish series. We both have been aligned from the word go. Now is the right time for Hrithik to move ahead and take Krrish forward for decades."

Rakesh Roshan believes that Hrithik would be the ideal person to take over as director, and no one could do it better. He explained, “Krrish is ingrained in Hrithik, and his vision is of today's generation. I could not entrust the franchise to a more creative mind than him.”

Calling his son the ‘best choice’, he added, “He is the best choice to translate our vision to life and that's why he is directing Krrish." He also stated that he is always available to offer suggestions whenever needed. He also mentioned that he, Hrithik and Aditya Chopra, are collaborating closely to ensure that Krrish provides a memorable experience for the audience.

The fourth instalment to the franchise of Koi… Mil Gaya will be directed by Hrithik and co-produced by Rakesh Roshan and Aditya Chopra. Further details of the film are currently kept under wraps, but fans can get more updates on the filming and the casting soon.
