Priyanka Chopra reacts to Hrithik Roshan turning director for Krrish 4, netizens ask "priya mehra are u coming back?"

Hrithik Roshan recently broke the internet with the announcement of his directorial debut and an update on Krrish 4. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the film for a long time, and the actor’s latest update has just increased the excitement.

However, the fans have now been wondering whether Priyanka Chopra will reprise her role in the superhero franchise. The actress has been a key part of Krrish and Krrish 3, starring as Hrithik’s partner.

However, Priyanka reacted to the Krrish 4 announcement recently but remained mum about her involvement in the upcoming project. The actress took to the comment section of Rakesh Roshan’s announcement post and shared her reaction.

She dropped folded hands, fire and heart emojis leaving fans wondering if she would return as Priya Mehra to the film. Several social media users responded to Priyanka’s comment and asked her, “are you doing it.” Another Instagram user wrote, “priya mehra are u coming back?” A third user wrote, “back to being mehra from Jonas lesgo.”

The fourth instalment to the franchise of Koi… Mil Gaya will be directed by Hrithik and co-produced by Rakesh Roshan and Aditya Chopra.

For the unversed, the original Krrish film, released in 2006, was a spin-off of Koi...Mil Gaya. The story follows Krishna, the son of Rohit Mehra, played by Hrithik Roshan and Nisha aka Preity Zinta, who lives a secluded life with his grandmother Sonia, essayed by Rekha.

However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he leaves his sheltered world to pursue his love, Priya, portrayed by Priyanka Chopra, and eventually becomes the superhero Krrish to combat evil. The Krrish franchise has since become one of India's most successful and beloved film series.
