Pushpa 2: The Rule team has cancelled all the special midnight and early morning shows in Karnataka.
Normally in Karnataka, the movie shows begin at 10 am, and in some special cases, the movies are also screened as early as 7 am. However, the late-night screenings at odd hours like 3:30 and 4 am have raised safety concerns in the state.
For Pushpa 2, which is the most awaited Telugu movie, screenings were likely to begin in the wee hours at single-screen theaters and multiplexes.

The Kannada Film Producers Association had filed a formal complaint against the late-night screenings with the District Authority. They stressed that the shows that are screened before 6:30 am in the morning violate the Karnataka Cinema Regulation Act.
The state government has now mandated that no films will be shown in theaters before the allotted time of 6 am.
Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Daali Dhananjay, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, is directed by Sukumar. The film also has a special number, Kissik, by Sreeleela. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
