But while the RCB camp was erupting with happiness, heartbreak loomed large for Punjab Kings’ co-owner and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who was seen overwhelmed with emotion following the nail-biting finale on June 3.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the title in a fierce match on Tuesday, ending Punjab Kings' (PBKS) incredible run in the IPL 2025 season. Preity was clearly upset by the loss. The 2025 IPL final was significant for Punjab Kings, who had been aiming for their first championship victory, as well as Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who were attempting to win their first title in an 18-year journey.
