Peddi update: Ram Charan finishes high-octane shoot in Hyderabad

Ram Charan’s upcoming Telugu film Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. The movie is still under production, but creating strong buzz with every update.

As per the recent reports by News Byte, the film wrapped up an exciting action schedule at Hyderabad’s Moula Ali railway station.

The latest schedule featured high-octane action scenes involving veteran actors Jagapathi Babu and Satya. These scenes were shot at the historic station, giving fans a glimpse into the film’s intense and raw setting.

Peddi is described as a rural sports action drama. The film is set in a tough village background, and it revolves around traditional sports like wrestling and cricket. Ram Charan is seen in a rugged new look, with long hair, a thick beard and a nose ring in the recently released teaser and posters, drawing comparisons to his role in Rangasthalam and the earthy vibe of Pushpa.

The teaser released on Rama Navami showed Charan swinging a bat and delivering a powerful message about identity and survival, creating a strong impact among fans.

Joining Ram Charan in Peddi are popular stars like Janhvi Kapoor, marking her second Telugu film after Devara. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar and Mirzapur fame Divyenndu are also part of the ensemble, adding pan-India appeal to the project.

Meanwhile, Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman is handling the soundtrack. Peddi will be released in multiple Indian languages, aiming for a wide audience across the country. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on March 27, 2026.
