Following the massive success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand are reuniting for their next big project, King.

Sources reveal that Anand has stepped in to replace Sujoy Ghosh as the director, following the incredible reception of their previous collaboration. The duo's partnership, marked by Pathaan's box office success and acclaim, has sparked immense excitement for King.

The film is expected to continue the high-octane action and gripping storytelling that captivated audiences in their previous venture, setting high expectations for their next collaboration.

Sources close to Pinkvilla said, "Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand are among the biggest combination for Hindi Cinema, and are all set for a reunion on King. The prep work for this action-packed entertainer has been underway for the last six months, as Siddharth Anand and his team have done multiple rounds of recce all across the globe and also designed path-breaking action sequences with stunt directors of international repute. King is all set to go on floors in March 2025."

King features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, with his daughter, Suhana Khan, playing a key character in the film. Abhishek Bachchan joins the cast as the antagonist, adding a layer of intensity to the narrative.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in partnership with Marflix, the film promises an engaging storyline that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. According to sources, every character in the film has a distinct arc, with ample screen time to make a lasting impact. The screenplay has been penned by Sujoy Ghosh, Siddharth Anand, Suresh Nair, and Sagar Pandya, while Abbas Tyrewala has crafted the dialogues.

The film is set to feature some of the most spectacular action sequences ever seen in Indian cinema, aiming to rival global standards. "It's the most explosive action written for a Hindi film," the source continued.
