The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show brought the stars of Do Patti to Kapil Sharma’s stage. Kajol, Kriti Sanon, Shaheer Sheikh, and writer-producer Kanika Dhillon joined Kapil for a lively chat that ranged from film insights to personal anecdotes. Kajol revealed some strange and unsettling rumours she’s encountered, especially the repeated and bizarre news of her death.
Kapil kicked off the conversation by asking Kajol about the oddest rumour she had heard about herself. Kajol responded with a mix of humour and bewilderment, and said that she’s often read reports about her death. "I don’t even need to Google myself for these. People will either call or send it to me, saying, ‘Look at this strange news,’" she laughed.
One particularly memorable instance, she shared, occurred even before social media, when someone called her mother to say that her plane had crashed, leading her mother to wait in worry until Kajol finally contacted her. Recently, she noted, yet another video about her supposed "death" went viral. Kriti Sanon expressed in disbelief, "This is just sick; it really shouldn’t be happening."

Kapil went on to ask if her husband Ajay Devgn aka Singham gave her any tips for her role as an officer in Do Patti. Kajol humorously replied, “No need! I was the one who trained him for Singham. Did you forget?” adding that she had even helped him polish his Marathi for the film.
Kajol and Kriti also took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reminiscing about their first collaboration in Dilwale eight years ago, where they played sisters. They laughed about how much they’ve grown since then, not only as individuals but as actors.
