Bollywood actress Neelam Kothari Soni, who is seen in the popular Netflix show 'Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives Season 3, has expressed her willingness to return to acting in movies if she receives an interesting and great script.
In an exclusive interview with Money Control, Neelam said that she's happy with her current reality show and has also been busy with the jewelry business. However, she didn't rule out the possibility of making a comeback to Bollywood if a compelling project came her way.
"I'm quite happy doing this reality. Now the hang of, Bollywood Wives, you know, like you said, season 3 has opened up a little bit more. So, I'm quite happy doing this. I'm happy doing my jewelry business. But never say never," she told us.
"If something really interesting, a great script comes my way, I may consider it. Right now, the bug that I had in season 1, that sort of ducked down a little bit. Oh, that's the one," she added.
Neelam, who was a popular actress in the 90s, has been focusing on her personal life and other ventures after taking a break from acting.
Neelam features alongside her friends Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh and Bhavana Pandey in the third season of the hit reality show. This time they are joined by three other girls from Delhi - Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha.

Her appearance in "Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives" Seasons 1, 2, and now 3 has revived interest in her acting career, and fans have been eagerly waiting for her return to the big screen.
When asked about how her daughter Ahana finds her show and how she reacts, Neelam said she tries to keep her daughter away from social media and shows. But she likes it.
"I think, you know, being a celebrity mom has its pros and cons. And, I definitely, you know, Ahana is 11, and I definitely do protect her as much as I can and keep devices away as much as I can. But there's only so much that you can sort of hide and, you know, protect them from the media. And, I mean, for me at this point as an 11-year-old, social media is like a no-no. YouTube is still okay, but I do not allow her Instagram and all that," said Neelam.
While Neelam is content with her current endeavors, she's open to exploring new opportunities in Bollywood. With her experience and talent, it's likely that she'll make a successful comeback if she finds the right project.
Neelam has worked opposite many lead actors, including Govinda, Saif Ali Khan, and Chunky Pandey.
She gained popularity with her movie 'Ilzaam' in 1986 with the then debutant Govinda. Post that, she and Govinda went on to work in 14 movies and were considered a hit pair.
She was also seen in the Sooraj Barjatya movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1999. Her last movie was in 2001 with Chunky Pandey, titled Kasam. She then bid adieu to films and then made a comeback to the showbiz world again with the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives in 2020-22. The third season recently premiered on Netflix.
