Television actor, Nitish Bharadwaj, who rose to prominence for playing Krishna in the epic Mahabharat, has recently shared a cryptic social media post on Father’s Day. The actor took to his Instagram and talked about the rising cases of domestic violence against men while wishing Father’s Day.
The actor shared two photos on his Instagram while addressing domestic violence against men. The first photo in the slide was a screenshot of a news article with the headline about a member of the National Commission for Women claiming there’s no need for a men’s commission.
Meanwhile, the second photo was of a man sitting in the dark, with a text that reads, “Domestic Abuse Against Men: A Silent Crisis on the Rise in India.”
He concluded his post while adding hashtags like #MensRights #DomesticViolenceAgainstMen #FalseCases #VoiceForMen #NationalCommissionForMen."

The actor turned politician took to his Instagram Story and shared another cryptic post that reads, "The worst prison in the world is a home without peace. Be careful who you marry or fall in love with."
For the unversed, Nitish Bharadwaj has been married twice. He got married for the first time to Monisha Patil in 1991. The duo welcomed two children, but got divorced in 2005. In 2009, he married IAS officer Smita Gate, and they have twin daughters. They separated in 2019, and the divorce was finalised in 2022 after 12 years of their marriage.
However, he made headlines in February 2024 after he filed a police complaint against his estranged wife, Smita Gate, and accused her of mental harassment.
