A video of NCT’s Mark being yelled at by a security guard during a public appearance has gone viral, triggering widespread anger among fans. On November 24, Mark attended a photo call for the Cosrx pop-up store at Stage 35 in Seongsu. After touring the venue and posing for the media, he headed out while fans gathered outside the area to catch a glimpse of him.

However, a moment that was meant to be warm and appreciative took an unexpected turn. As Mark rolled down his car window to wave at fans, a security guard was heard shouting and cursing directly at him. The original poster who captured the clip claimed, “Mark was trying to wave to fans, but the security guard yelled, ‘Why are you rolling the window down, f*ck.’ I was furious. Things were chaotic, people were pushing, and fans who stayed inside the fence were being yelled at too.”

The OP later uploaded a clearer version of the clip, adding, “To be precise, the guard said, ‘F*ck, don’t open the door.’”

The video spread rapidly, and fans expressed shock at the guard’s aggressive behaviour, especially toward the artist he was supposed to protect.

Outraged comments flooded social media. “It’s the security guard’s job to protect the artist, not curse at them however they want,” wrote a fan. “What did Mark do wrong? He was just waving to fans. This is extremely rude,” noted another.

“There’s a line you shouldn’t cross. This is unacceptable,” remarked another fan.
