Ishq Jalakar Karvaan Released Following Massive Public Demand Sparked By The Dhurandhar Trailer

Riding on the overwhelming buzz generated by the Dhurandhar trailer, which has surpassed 50 million views on YouTube since its debut on November 18, Saregama, Jio Studios, and B62 Studios have accelerated the launch of the much-requested track Ishq Jalakar – Karvaan.

Right from the moment the trailer premiered, viewers were instantly mesmerized by the evocative Qawwali notes woven into its background. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev and Roshan Lal, the song pays homage to Roshan Lal’s iconic original, a timeless classic from Saregama’s treasured musical heritage that continues to resonate with listeners across generations.

In the hours that followed the trailer’s release, social media saw an explosion of user-generated content. Fans created countless edits, reels, and short-form videos featuring the snippet, repeatedly urging the makers to unveil the full track. The reimagined version, powered by the soul-stirring vocals of Shashwat Sachdev, Shahzad Ali, Subhadeep Das Chowdhury, and Armaan Khan, and penned by legendary lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi alongside modern lyricist Irshad Kamil, instantly connected with audiences on an emotional level.

Adding to the song’s surging popularity was the widespread appreciation for Ranveer Singh’s captivating presence in the trailer, which further fuelled anticipation for Dhurandhar. Viewers also hailed Shashwat Sachdev’s audacious contemporary reinterpretation of the classic, pushing the track into mainstream cultural conversations even before its official release.

Speaking about the unexpected wave of enthusiasm, director Aditya Dhar shared, “What started as a simple glimpse became an unstoppable storm. We never intended to release 'Ishq Jalakar – Karvaan' this early, but the audience’s explosive reaction left us no choice. Shashwat has magnificently re-envisioned the evergreen ‘Na to karvan ki talash,’ and we’re glad the full track is finally out there, capturing the spirit of Dhurandhar.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, Dhurandhar features an entire album curated by Saregama and is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on 5th December.
