Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya, who is soon going to tie the knot with his fiancee and actress Sobhita Dhulipala, has refuted rumors that they have sold off their wedding rights to an OTT platform.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to tie the knot on December 4 at the famous Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The wedding venue is very significant to the Akkineni family as it symbolizes their rich legacy in the Telugu film industry.
There were reports that Naga Chaitanya and family sold off the rights to their wedding video for Rs 50 crore. The actors spoke with Zoom and dismissed these reports. He said, "This is false news. There is no such deal."
Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but the two got divorced in 2021, days before their anniversary.

The Manam actor then started dating Sobhita Dhulipala, and the two were together for the past two years before their engagement in August this year.
Prior to that, the couple never spoke about their relationship, nor did they make any public appearances.
Sobhita and Naga's engagement was also announced by veteran actor and superstar Nagarjuna in August. He had shared a few pictures from the intimate engagement ceremony.
Naga Chaitanya also spoke about his upcoming wedding and said it will be a 'private affair.'
Explaining where the confusion came from, “I was in Mumbai for the launch of my OTT show. During that time, she also had a show with the same platform. We first interacted at the event hosted by the OTT platform."
Talking about Sobhita and how the two families have been meeting in the past few months, Naga said, “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family over the past few months. Watching the families interact has been a joy. I’m really looking forward to the wedding day, experiencing the rituals, and seeing the families come together."
All eyes are now on December 4, when the couple will get married with Telugu traditions, and there are also reports that the wedding ceremony will be simple and the rituals will last for almost 8 hours.
