Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, is gearing up for his wedding with Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, set for July 12. The Ambani family commenced the celebrations with a haldi ceremony on Monday, which saw the presence of several Bollywood celebrities.
Numerous photos and videos from the event have surfaced online, capturing performances by Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu. The singers entertained guests with romantic hits from Shah Rukh Khan's movies, including 'Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain' from 'Pardes,' 'Main Yahan Hoon' from 'Veer-Zaara,' and the title song from 'Dhadkan.'
The couple participated in a Grah Shanti Puja ceremony a day prior, with singer Nikita Waghela sharing highlights on Instagram. The event showcased Radhika in a stunning cream and gold saree adorned with intricate jewelry, while Anant wore a red kurta with a gold jacket. In addition to the personal celebrations, Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted a mass wedding for the underprivileged on July 2 at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar.
On July 3, the Ambanis celebrated the traditional Mameru ceremony, where the bride's maternal uncle brings sweets and gifts. The wedding festivities have been carefully planned, following traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The main wedding ceremony, Shubh Vivah, will take place on Friday, July 12, with guests encouraged to wear traditional Indian attire. Celebrations will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad, and conclude on Sunday, July 14, with the Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception.
The Ambani family also hosted a Sangeet Ceremony on July 5, featuring performances from numerous celebrities, including global pop star Justin Bieber. Earlier this year, Anant and Radhika held a series of pre-wedding events in Jamnagar, attended by a host of international stars.
