Diljit Dosanjh named ‘India’s most fashionable man’

Diljit Dosanjh’s laurels are increasing day by day. There is nothing that he has not been able to accomplish. His most recent feat comes from Vogue Paris who have declared Diljit officially as ‘India’s most fashionable man.’

The brain behind Diljit Dosanjh’s fashion is reportedly Dosanjh himself. The musician apparently does not have a stylist so every single fashion choice that he makes means that he is not just innovative in music, but in fashion.

“They said Punjabis can't do fashion and I said, I will show you,” Diljit Dosanjh said on stage in Mumbai back in April.

Vogue highlighted the fact that despite his global stardom, Diljit does not have a stylist attached to his hip. In fact, he stays true to himself, his culture and to his style which makes him a standout in this new age music industry.

The star made his debut on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ yesterday and he set fire to the stage with a medley performance of ‘Born to Shine’ and ‘G.O.A.T.’ He wore a traditional Punjabi attire and brought his Punjabi shaan to the stage. He delivered a historic performance but it is not his first time doing something like that.

Diljit Dosanjh is the first Punjabi artist to perform at the iconic music festival, Coachella. Before starting his set, he humbly addressed the crowd and said, “Sat sri akal ji,” a Punjabi greeting. He took the stage in a simple black kurta, tamba and turban. It was a testament to how much he respects and values his culture. Dosanjh is not one to stray from his roots no matter where his massive success lands him.
