The Coldplay "kiss cam" controversy that recently swept the internet has now been given his own unique twist by well-known YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson.
A Jumbotron camera captured Astronomer CEO Andy Byron cuddling with the company's head of human resources, Kristin Cabot, during a Coldplay performance in Boston. The incident went viral and sparked a tonne of internet memes and conjecture.
Both Byron and Cabot, who are reportedly married to other people, attempted to duck the infamous “kiss cam,” but their awkward body language only fuelled the flames.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin even joked mid-performance, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” sending the audience into fits of laughter.
Now, in a cheeky nod to the scandal, MrBeast has offered fans a chance to win two VIP tickets to an upcoming Coldplay concert—with a twist. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “I bought two VIP Coldplay tickets and one random person that tags their boss in the replies will win them! (if you win watch out for the Jumbotron),” alongside a photo of himself holding the coveted tickets.
His post is a clear dig at the viral drama, playfully encouraging fans to rope in their own bosses for a shot at Coldplay glory—though hopefully minus the scandal. The "watch out for the Jumbotron" warning hints that the YouTuber may have a surprise in store, possibly mimicking the infamous camera moment that sparked the meme frenzy.
For those who don't know, viral content is nothing new to MrBeast. With more than 270 million subscribers to his primary channel, the 27-year-old content creator, who was born in Greenville, North Carolina, has emerged as the most popular YouTuber globally.
More than 415 million people are part of his larger network, which includes Beast Reacts, MrBeast Gaming, and MrBeast Philanthropy.

Known for extravagant giveaways and what many call “stunt philanthropy,” MrBeast became the only self-made billionaire under 30 as of May 2025, with an estimated net worth of $1 billion (approximately ₹8,350 crore).
Whether you’re in it for the Coldplay concert or just in for the laughs, tagging your boss has never been so high-stakes—or so entertaining.
