Adding to the list of patriotic films, "Indian 2" showcases Haasan as Senapathy, an aging freedom fighter turned vigilante. Haasan's take on patriotism is profound and global. He shared, "I’m a citizen of the world and I’m concerned when things go wrong. I want to be a world citizen and I want to live to see the day when passports are abolished. That’s my kind of thinking and people don’t need to agree with me."

Jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, and featuring stars like SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal Kitchlu, and Rakul Preet Singh, "Indian 2" promises to be a monumental release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on July 12.

Indian 2's trailer bursts onto the scene with Kamal Haasan executing jaw-dropping modern stunts, all while showcasing his iconic Varma Kalai martial arts. The story dives deep into the murky waters of corruption, promising a narrative that's both thrilling and visually spectacular. At its heart is Veerasekaran Senapathy, a freedom fighter turned vigilante who takes a stand against a corrupt system.
