Sushmita Sen was last seen in 'Aarya 3' on Disney+ Hotstar. The Hindi film and OTT star had a heart attack in 2023. About 10 years ago, Sen was also diagnosed with Addison's disease, in which the body does not produce enough cortisol and aldosterone hormones.

Former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has always lived the life on her own terms - be it her choice of movies, her affairs or her decision to adopt two girls at a very young age. And this is what makes Sushmita loved by her fans across the world.

The actress, who made a comeback to the acting scenes with 'Aarya' and 'Taali', recently spoke with an entertainment magazine 'Indulge' where she talked about her love life, health scare last year and being a single mom.

On being asked if she is willing to walk down the aisle? Sushmita Sen said "I will get married." She stated: "It has never been a ‘never’ situation. Be it the biological clock or the right time provided by social conditioning, neither is the right reason to get married. But if the person is right and ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned, of course, I will get married."

Her elder daughter Renee ventured into theatre recently and her younger one Alisah is studying in a boarding school in Switzerland.

Sushmita has always been open about her love life over the years. On being asked if exes can be friends as she is also a good friend with her ex-beau Rohman Shawl, she termed it as both "hard and confusing."

"Definitely. But I think it’s hard and confusing. Many people can be friends with their exes and not know where to draw the line or have boundaries. But it’s possible because I have seen it happen, and I am blessed to have it in my life as well," she said.

Talking about her heart attack in 2023, Sushmita said she is taking baby steps in her fitness regime. Sushmita revealed that both her parents have heart problems and it was genetic.

She is now back in the gym and is allowed to do weights but not run. She suffered a heart attack in 2023 while shooting for her hit OTT show 'Aarya' where she plays the titular role.

"My fitness routine has been very slow. This February, I completed a year since the heart attack, and going back to a fitness regimen has been gradual. It’s mostly warm-ups and stretches, with a bit of floor exercises. I have been allowed weights now, so weight training has been introduced. I am not entirely allowed to do anything too static, the movements need to be dynamic. I am not allowed to run, but I can pace walk," she further stated.

On the work front, Sushmita was seen in 'Aarya 3' recently and it received a warm welcome from the fans. Sushmita has worked in many hit Bollywood films like 'Biwi No 1' opposite Salman Khan and 'Main Hoon Na' with Shah Rukh Khan to name a few.
