Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan starrer Metro... In Dino performed well at the box office during its first four days of release. However, the film registered a steep decline at the box office.
According to the trade website Sacnilk, Metro... In Dino earned around Rs 2.90 crore net in India on its fifth day with an occupancy of 12.05% morning show, 27.09% afternoon show, 31.68% evening and 46.15% night show. The total box office collection of the film now stands at Rs 22.15 Crore net in India.
The film registered an overall 29.24% Hindi Occupancy on Tuesday. The film opened in the theatres with positive reviews and decent numbers. The film earned Rs 3.5 crore on its opening day. However, the film registered a surge in the collection during its first weekend, adding Rs 6 crore (Saturday) and Rs 7.25 crore (Sunday) net in India.
Metro... In Dino was released on July 4 and is facing stiff competition from a big Hollywood release, Jurassic World: Rebirth. Scarlett Johansson starrer action adventure earned Rs 47.35 crore net in India in five days.

Alongside Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, the film also stars Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is a prequel to the 2007 film Life in a... Metro.
The film explores the many shades and complexities of love in urban life, delivering an emotional yet grounded cinematic experience that has clearly struck a chord with audiences.
