In the series, Manoj Bajpayee portrays Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man juggling a double life as an intelligence officer with the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC).

The story is written by Suman Kumar and Raj & DK, and produced under Raj & DK's D2R Films banner.

The upcoming season will feature the return of the original cast, including Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, and Ashlesha Thakur, with Gul Panag joining the cast as well.

The first season of The Family Man premiered on Amazon Prime Video in September 2019, and after its massive success, the second season was released on June 4, 2021.
