Anant Ambani, son of India's billionaire business tycoon Mukesh Ambani tied the knot with Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare's CEO Viren Merchant in a lavish ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre. Renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra recently shared a glimpse of the beautiful wedding venue. The "An Ode to Varanasi" theme immersed guests in the city's rich tapestry of traditions, culture, and spirituality.

Manish posted a detailed video of Anant and Radhika's wedding venue on Instagram and mentioned in the caption, "It was the beautiful #mrsnitaambani’s vision to create a visual spectacle inspired the historic and beautiful city of #benaras. The three-day wedding extravaganza was attended by a star-studded guest list and showcased opulent celebrations, including stunning attire worn by the couple and their guests.

The wedding at Jio World Centre was transformed into a vibrant representation of Varanasi. The venue's concourse was designed to mimic the bustling streets of Banaras, complete with interactive stalls and services, offering guests a memorable journey through the heart of the city.

Guests indulged in the flavours of Banaras with offerings such as Banarasi chaat, mithai, lassi, chai, khari, and paan & mukhwas.

Traditional arts and crafts were showcased, including brasswork, pottery, Banarasi & Kanjeevaram sarees, Polki jewellery, and rosewood furniture. Guests also enjoyed unique services like astrology readings, attar, floral arrangements, and bangle selling. Puppet shows and a photo studio provided entertainment. The wedding dress code for guests was "Resplendently Indian".

An audio-visual exhibit showcasing Lord Vishnu's 10 avatars as depicted in mythologies was also presented at the Jio World Centre. Guests were welcomed by Hindustani classical ragas performed by renowned musicians. Popular singers including Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Shreya Ghoshal contributed their voices to the wedding ceremonies.

The wedding day itself was a dazzling spectacle, graced by a galaxy of Bollywood and Hollywood stars. The guest list boasted celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, alongside international icons such as John Cena, Kim Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian.
